love the last one also. like the way you filled the frame with it. i like the closeness of the first one also but it feels a little too soft. your colors are very vibrant.
The strongest one is that last one. It fills the frame and has no distractions. I think one of the hardest things about macros is paying attention to all the surroundings and light.
The last one rocks!! It seems sharper, more saturated or something. I also love how it fills the frame. Looks like you're getting it to me!!(of course, I know NOTHING about macro. ha!)Great job!
Hi Teri I saw your post on my blog and I will try and give some CC's. #1 looks like your exposure is off. I think you have a Canon and I usually overexpose for my shots by alleast +1 or more. Check your histogram if you aren't do that. Also when I enlarge your shots I am seeing a lot of dust specks and noise. I don't know what your settings are on these. #2 it looks like the focus fell on the bud up front. I would try doing Manual focus points and also I sometimes use Mirror Lock. #3 looks like it is in focus but I would have come in tighter on just one flower and get closer. #4 is the most in focus but again I would have done some different angles and different F stops to see which I like. I don't know if this helps you but Macros just aren't as easy as they look.
Your next post of macros looks like you had better lighting and that is something I always have trouble with here in AZ with the sun. Good luck with your work, you are doing fine, just practice as much as you can, macros are so much fun and some days are better than others.
I think these are really nice. I LOVE the pink ones, but I'm a huge fan of pink, I guess. I struggle with macro too, but I think you're doing well.
Wanted to mention the other day, but didn't get a chance, that I'm so jealous that you go to go to the Keith Urban concert. Oh, I wish I could go. Glad you had a good time!
No CC here either I'm not much of a macro shooter, although I'd like to learn! Lauren and Heather would definitely be a lot of help I'm sure with these shots.
A little about me, I am married and have 2 boys. I love to take pictures and be creative with my pictures. I hate to journal so you will see very little journaling on my layouts, i'm lucky to get the dates on my layouts :)

Love the vibrancy of the last one. I haven't tried my hand at many macros, looks challenging.

really like the first and last! the colors are great and the i like the detail in the last.
leah
the second seems a tad underexposed maybe? it looks like you were in shade?
That last one is awesome. Focus and color are perfect!

Sorry Teri I noticed a lot of spelling errors on my above post that is what I get for trying to type so fast. :) Have a great day.
Beautiful shots! I might try to brighten them up in PS! But that's just a personal preference!
The colors are beautiful. I love the pink in the first shot. It would be so pretty framed in a girl's nursery.
I like the last one the best. Nice colors in these!
WOW - I love the color on the last one.
I love that last one...I'm a lily person though! ;) VERY pretty...those first ones match your blog colors nicely! I like them all

I don't know a thing about macro, but I like the first and the last one because they seem less busy to me. Does that help?
Beautiful! I haven't been brave enough to venture into macro yet =)
