Our new house.

Wow it's been a very long time since I posted anything on my blog, that is how exciting I am. Things have been stressful and draining looking for a home but we finally found one. We close the sale of our home on Oct 24th and have to be out on the 26th, with our new home we don't close until the 31st but they are working on getting us in around the same time to save on moving and storage so we shall see. Andy went and did the home inspection and it came back good, the inspector told him the house was taken care of and barely looks like it was ever lived in. The previous owners put a lot of work into the backyard and on the flooring inside, the kitchen, and both bathrooms upstairs has Travertine flooring. the rest is hardwood flooring except for the bedrooms and stairs which is carpet. The pool and backyard was done really nice and I love that we can now have family and friends over for a barbeque. These are just some quick snap shots of the house but once we get in i'll be able to get better pics and with furniture. The house has been emptied for several months so the grass and plants will hopefully come back with a little water.

Awhile ago I had seen someone post something similar to this on another photography site I visit often and thought it was funny and cleaver, So Tue my instructor gave us an assignment and that was to shoot eggs, at first I thought it was a stupid assignment but then I remembered someone doing this and it clicked in my head to do something like they did and to make the assignment a little more exciting then I thought it would be at first. Mine isn't as nice as there's was and I had a hard time getting the perspective they got but it's still pretty funny. I had DS's girlfriend draw the faces for me because I can barely draw a straight line.

I love the snow, this is this weeks theme but the second one I added to show we were the only ones out on the I-5 near the grapevine, it was cool being the only ones out on a major freeway. The snow started coming down pretty heavy so we had to get out of there before we got stuck.
