Andy finally decided to go out and buy a nice fancy car which he always settled for a car that got good milage but not always looked good and he loves it and is really picky about this one. It's a beautiful Car and the first thing he did was get the windows tinted which made it look even better. The navigation system is the coolest feature of this car, lol.

Yay, My kitchen is Finally done.

After weeks and weeks of remodeling the kitchen Andy Finally finished it this weekend. We still need to find a new slider and buy a new celling fan but I was able to finally put things in place this weekend. We did all new oak Cabinets, which Rich did a awesome job on them and also included some neat little gadgets and did a different look than we had before. We had all new black with splashes of gold granite counters done and it looks very pretty. We did a nice backsplash with a pewter accent and it finished the look. We bought all new Bosch stainless steel appliances and unless you like to clean all the time stainless steel is not for you, lol. I love the dishwasher, you barely hear the thing running when it's on.

Since Chris is moving out there is so much he needs so it was a good excuse to buy everything new, new cookware, Utensils and small appliances and all I need is new dinnerware which I have my eye on a eight piece set with glasses at Pier 1. I did the coffee theme and found some nice accents here and there to decorate the kitchen. Overall I love the way it came out and next will be our bathroom but not ready for another mess so I want to wait a few weeks but hopefully before Christmas. I still need to take some pics of the kitchen so as soon as I do I will add them.

Some things just need to be jotted down.

Although I have no pic's right now they aren't always as important as jotting down memories, Happiness, sadness and everything precious. My blog has been untouched for several weeks now and my memory is not as good as it once was so sometimes I need a little help to remember the important things. Chris and Crystal found a townhome in Valencia and they move into it this Saturday (Nov 3rd, 2007) and although im very happy for him and know he will do really good it still brings a tear to my eyes everytime I think about him moving out and I know Saturday it will hit me more and then even more when he doesn't walk in the door at dinner time when he gets home from work. I know at 23 they should be out on their own but it's still hard to let go after all those years. I can't wait to see his townhome and from what I have heard it's very nice and has all the upgrades, He will be an hour closer to work which will make things so much easier for him and leave him more time at home. It's a big step in his life and it's going to be different for him in the beggining until he manages his money and bills but I wish him the very best. I will post pic's once I get some this weekend.

just some random pictures I took while sitting on the beach soaking up the sun. I sat where they rent out surf boards and you can have an instructor teach you how to surf. The kids seam to do much better than most adults and it was cute watching them learn.

Senor Frogs. This place was so fun, the waiters and waitresses were so nice and had great attitudes. They make these balloon hats for all their customers and I was surprised Andy put it on but he felt pretty comfortable with it and I guess it's because most everyone wore them. Whenever they ring the bell whatever waiter or waitress is near you they have to make them dance with you right there by your table. They also have about 5 waiters walking around and picking people to chug out of a huge cup while everyone claps and says chug, chug, chug. They have karaoke and other fun activities, really a great atmosphere.




Using a crappy P&S camera didn't do this pic justice and no matter how I tried to adjust it it just didn't look good so B&W conversion made it look better.

Drinking out of a coconut or pineapple was the one main thing I wanted to do, I would of liked to of had it on the beach bt they aren't very easy to find and I found the pineapple in the bar of our hotel.

It's been awhile.

To my POTD friends, sorry I haven't blogged in awhile and hope you all didn't forget me :), Some of you know that I went back to Hawaii and for those who didn't know, yes I went twice within 2 months, yes im pretty lucky or maybe a little spoiled, lol. My first trip was June 26th to the big Island for 2 weeks, my second trip was July 25th and flew to the big island, stayed there for 3 days and then flew into Honolulu and was there for a week. I absolutly loved both trips and took so many pics that im so overwhelmed with all of them and would love to post them all but I don't think my blog can handle them all :). From my first trip I had posted a lot of Hawaiian flowers when I got back and still have so many others I would like to add.

The Big Island was pretty and more of a relaxing Island, I enjoyed visiting the Botanical gardens, waterfalls and Kona. Oahu was beautiful but more of a fast pace, more shopping, bluer waters and more sandy beaches. We managed to do so much while we were there for a week.

This is Lions head, it took me a few minutes to see the form of a lion head so if you look closely you can see it.

This is Sandy Beach in Oahu, it is very populated with jelly fish in the summer months so it freaked me out a little when I seen them all over in the sand so I ran whenever the water would come up




Here is Hanauma bay where we went snorkling, it was so fun and beautiful to see the tropical fish. One of them didn't like me for some reason and attacked me but just followed me and pecked at my ankle, lol. The underwater cameras they sell are very crappy so I didn't get to many underwater shots, DH managed to do a better job at using it than I did so I was able to salvage a few of them.
